Private investigators serving New England
New England, from Tamworth and Armidale to the plains.
Factual investigations, surveillance, incident investigations and aerial scene capture across Tamworth, Armidale, Gunnedah, Narrabri and Moree, for insurers, claims agents, self-insurers, employers and solicitors.
New England is the region centred on Tamworth and Armidale. The NSW Government's New England North West region takes in twelve council areas: Armidale Regional, Glen Innes Severn, Gunnedah, Gwydir, Inverell, Liverpool Plains, Moree Plains, Narrabri, Tamworth Regional, Tenterfield, Uralla and Walcha. We work across all twelve. Tamworth is about 282 kilometres from Newcastle, roughly four hours by road; Armidale about 336, around five hours; Moree about 500, closer to seven. Travel times are approximate driving times from Newcastle.
Farming is spread across the region: beef, sheep, grain, dairy and poultry around Tamworth, with meat processing in the town; cotton, coal and grain around Gunnedah and Narrabri; grain and cotton around Moree; wool, beef cattle and sapphire mining around Glen Innes. Hospitals and secondary education are among the main sources of employment in Tamworth, and higher education in Armidale (2021 Census), where the University of New England is one of the city's main employers. We take referrals from self-insurers, the Nominal Insurer's claims agents and the coal industry's specialised insurer.

Aerial scene captureHow we work here
The furthest of our regions, planned as a trip.
On the ground
- Worker interviews are held at a place the worker nominates, with a support person or interpreter where requested. Employer and witness interviews are usually at the workplace.
- Site inspections are arranged with the employer or occupier and recorded with measurements, photographs and video.
- Reports record what was said, what was inspected and what the documents show, written knowing the worker may read them.
- A New England referral is planned as a trip of one or more days, with interviews, inspections and any surveillance grouped, and access to farms, mines and plants arranged beforehand.
The limits we keep
- Surveillance is conducted only in or from public places, only of the worker named in the referral, and without inducement, entrapment or trespass.
- Aerial capture documents sites and scenes with the occupier's consent and is not used to watch or follow people.
- We offer no opinions on medical questions, capacity, liability or recovery. Those are matters for the insurer.
